How is the bow tie attached to the collar?

Two small elastic fabric bands are sewed on the back of the bow tie, allowing it to slide on the collar, making put on and take off easy. So your cat can wear only the collar or both if you wish.

 

How to be sure that the size of the collar will be comfortable for my cat?

Before making your purchase, it's important to measure your cat's neck to be sure that the collar will be comfortable. Each collar sold on this site are adjustable, between 7'' and 12''. You should be able to place two fingers between the neck and the collar to make sure that your cat is comfortable.

 

What is a breakaway buckle?

The fastener of the collar is designed to open if your cat ever gets stuck somewhere. Cats have a high level of activity and they are adventurous by nature, they have tendency to climb and jump frequently, which makes this type of collar very safe for your cat.

 

Can I attach a leash on this collar ?

This type of collar should never be used with a leash, since the pressure the cat could put on it by pulling, risk to open the collar's safety closure.

 

If I want one of your collars for my little dog, is it possible?

Even if they look a lot like a dog collar, they are primarily designed for cats. It could be possible, if the size of your dog's neck is between 7'' and 11'' and if you plan to use the collar as an accessory, not as his principal collar. Each collar has a safety buckle that will easily open if your pet puts pressure on it, so it's not made to be attach to a rope or a leash.
